The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, was admitted to hospital in London on Tuesday night, in line with an announcement from Buckingham Palace.
“The Duke’s admission is a precautionary measure, on the recommendation of His Royal Highness’s Physician, after feeling unwell,” a palace spokesperson advised U.Okay. media.
The 99-year-old is anticipated to stay in hospital for remark for just a few days.
The duke retired from his royal duties in 2017 and is never seen in public. He now spends his days at Windsor Fort together with his spouse, Queen Elizabeth II.
