Ottawa police mentioned Tuesday they’ve charged a 53-year-old man with intercourse offences courting again to his time as a trainer with the town’s French public faculty board.
The police’s sexual assault and baby abuse part mentioned it investigated allegations of associated to a pupil tracing again to the summer season of 2017.
The suspect was working as a trainer with the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO) at French Various faculty on the time, police mentioned.
Alain Phaneuf has been charged with one rely of sexual assault and one rely of sexual exploitation.
The accused is scheduled to look in courtroom on Tuesday.
Investigators mentioned they’re involved there might be extra victims.
