TORONTO — Ontario Premier Doug Ford is being criticized for steering what’s being referred to as a “misogynistic” comment in the direction of the chief of the Opposition.
Throughout a legislative session Wednesday, Ford informed NDP Chief Andrea Horwath that listening to her and her criticism of his authorities was like listening to “nails on a chalkboard.”
The remark was made throughout a heated trade as Horwath pressed Ford on his authorities’s pandemic response.
The comment drew condemnation from different opposition politicians together with from the Inexperienced get together chief Mike Schreiner, who referred to as the remark “misogynistic”.
Liberal home chief John Fraser referred to as the remark “unacceptable” and stated Ford ought to apologize.
Horwath says Ford owes an apology to the folks of Ontario, not her.
